![]() ![]() I've also gone into the Nvidia control panel to make sure it was utilizing my graphics card and multithreading, usually for old games (and usually games from Japan for some reason) see a lot of benefits when tweaked there but not in this case. DLSS and FSR have essentially rendered 1440p panels obsolete, as today there's no reason to purchase a lower resolution display (unless you need higher than 120/144Hz refresh rates).Yup I'm with you hnnngha, I've tweaked my settings a bunch and get roughly 30~40 FPS, basically turning down settings that actually do influence my FPS somewhat since a majority of them don't seem to have an impact whether they are high or low and if they do it's legit only a frame or two difference. And even non-3D assets like texts, UIs and game menus become horrible at 1440p, they all have a blurry look that just ruins the game experience. In a nutshell, there's no reason to decrease your output resolution to 1440p or lower, that's going to ruin every aspect of the image quality and it defeats the purpose of having an OLED TV in the first place (you get an OLED because you care about IQ), as the internal upscaling will ruin the sharpness and details. ![]() On older titles that don't support DLSS, you shouldn't have to worry about fps, as those titles will mostly easily run at +100fps at native 4K. And also, in most games, using the "ultra" quality settings is usually dumb and will give you little-to-no noticeable improvements in IQ, and running the game one or two steps down in preset will generally give you the same IQ with higher fps, as has been addressed by many tech channels. If you don't want to run on lower DLSS quality (as the image gets noticeably blurrier in the lower DLSS presets), just disable RT and you get a very easy fps performance uplift with no loss in sharpness, and if you want mega-fps, you can always both disable RT and put DLSS in performance mode while still outputting a 4K signal. It is very simple: just enable DLSS and you can get pretty much any performance you want without having to decrease your output resolution. I don't have a 3070, but I do have a 3080 and a 3060 Ti and both are running 4K displays. ![]()
